Hi, I’m Gina.

I create wholesome comics with expressive characters and a humorous twist.

About Me:

After graduating from ASU in 2009 with a shiny Fine Art degree, I did what any self-respecting recent young artist would do. I aimlessly explored dozens of unrelated artistic mediums hoping to find “the one”. After years of exploration, I eventually landed on the very thing I’ve been doing since I was a kid: drawing comics.

Fast forward to the 2020 quarantine. I embarked on a project making 100 tiny books from a single sheet of paper, known as zines. Videos of these itty bitty creations, which explored themes like life, parenting, and mental health, gained a devoted following on social media.

So naturally, I was approached by an editor to make them into a real life book. In April 2022, The Mommy Life was released by Adams Media. This adorable gift book is aimed at new and expecting moms, featuring some of my most popular comics that time.

Since then, I’ve continued to focus on creating thoughtful comics with a heartfelt yet humorous quality. Professionally, I’ve worked with clients like FamilyAlbum and Splendid Spoon to craft engaging social media content. My work has also been published in The Washington Post and shared across countless other major platforms online.

These days, you can find me in Phoenix, Arizona, spending time with family, reading all the books, and, of course, drawing.
